Capt. Jacob White's Station, Carthage

 a stockade built on an old Indian trail that led to the mouth of the Little Miami River. Attacked by Indians in August 1793, but held.

 the "great road" (now Lockland avenue, Carthage) thence northeast to White's Station, a distance of six miles from Columbia to White's Station.
